How to Donate Securities

Procedure for Donating Securities Thank you for your interest in donating securities to Big Sister. Please review the following instructions for making your donation to ensure that your gift is efficiently put to work helping girls at risk. You may either notify Big Sister directly of your donation, or send the agency a copy of the instructions you send to your broker or agent. It is very important that Big Sister be notified of your donation. Notification ensures that we will properly acknowledge the donor. Please include the following information in your transmittal letter: Your full name and mailing address Description of the security (company name, type and class of security) Example: General Motors common stock, Class H Quantity (number of shares of stock, number of shares or dollar value of mutual funds, face value of bonds) Purpose of donation Examples: "charitable contribution for unrestricted use" or "donation to support Life Choices" Reference to Big Sister's Account No. Y03-059579 at Fidelity Investments Correspondence to Big Sister, or copies of correspondence to your broker or agent, should be sent to: Big Sister Association of Greater Boston, Inc. 161 Massachusetts Avenue Boston, MA 02115 Attn: Judy Keefe DTC eligible securities Instruct your broker or agent to transfer securities to: DTC #226 National Financial Services Corp.
